just got back from duoro valley. it was a lot more tiring than i thought it'd be! gorgeous area and glad i got a chance to explore it for a short time. got chased by dogs. some of the speed limits definitely did not make sense to me. the few other vehicles on the road i met are all...
Havent actually seen any in a while. the one on Albert St is definitely gone. So is the one that used to be on Victoria St. Tried to find it today.
The official list from the city hasn't been updated since 2018 so I'm guessing the whole thing has been abandoned?
you dont need an IDL in the US if you have a canadian license. but you definitely need at least an m2 to rent a bike there from most places though.
seems more sensible to just get the m2 test over with before going on any moto trip.
im confused. are you not familiar with podcasts? literally EVERY major podcast has a video component to cover all the bases/sharing social media etc. they specifically dont show you anything IN the video because most people will be listening to it in their regular podcast audio feed.
as for...
thanks all!! was definitely leaning towards porto area but this helps solidify it.
algarve does look pretty nice too but maybe a bit too resorty for me and plus i had just recently come back from a california trip which *seems* similar.
either way i won't be able to do both so porto it is.
heading there in september but going with non-riders so will only have a day or two to check out some stuff via bike on my own.
not really looking for crazy twisties or anything offroad. just some nice scenic rides.
from porto, it seems the best path is heading out east towards duoro valley. i...
Damn that sucks. Hoping for a quick recovery.
I technically have “moto” boots (they’re more like shoes tbh. Pair of TCX x-wave) but I doubt they could handle a 400-500lb drop on them.
May have to rethink my footwear options.

This is even literally worse than the first thing you said lol. Riding when you’re emotionally distressed? Damn.

i used to work at adelaide / spadina (which is about maybe 5-10 min walk from your office) and rode my bike every day to work when i could.
i'd park on camden street along with a few other riders in my office.
now with all of the construction and new builds, a whole bunch of street parking...
probably the most popular stop in joshua tree.
love poking around in the desert/national parks. this was about 2 weeks ago as i escort my partner around for a temp work thing in yucca valley
it feels weird that you quoted me but literally did not address anything i actually wrote lol.
first of all, youtube is its own thing with its own set of best practices and algorithms. thumbnails and titles are meant to attract viewers. i dont give a **** about that part. but if you're...
watched both videos back to back. i dont really see any conflict between the two.
obviously Paul Varnsverry (the PPE guy) isnt going to say on record to NOT wear armor. and frankly neither is ryan f9. if anything, Varnsverry agrees with ryans points that manufacturers basically do the minimum...
kind of curious about the new triumph 400ccs myself. most of my riding is just basically in and around the city. when i leave the country for a trip i rent a bike anyway. and now that i dont even have to commute to work (work from home full time), riding here 'leisurely' is mostly pointless and...
My 5 day ride is over!
A lot more stuff to post but rode at the base but also saw Mr Fuji!
Visited oshino hokkai on the way back to Tokyo.
Stores here are hilarious.

Oh you don’t want me to do that lol. I am easy to please. 711 and makudonarudo lol. Shrimp McNuggets is hilarious and had to try it.
Some other things I’ve had more worthy of food photo :
This thing was soo good. Inside is shrimp, scallops and vegetable. Had it at the port of Numazu...
