I live in Toronto, so much prefer taking transit and not having to deal with the Mississauga ***show 😂 But if it’s worth the drive I’d give it a go. Sounds like I’m better off online shopping and/or looking at motorcycles at a dealer lol
Last time I was at a show it was sparse. Few manufacturers and only a handful of retailers. Wondering if that’s still the case, or if there is a show that’s recommended for both manufacturer attendance and retailers?
Still up on Murray St by Orde….except 1 of the 2 signs has fallen down and not been replaced, so you can tell where the spot starts but not where it ends! 9 times out of 10 there’s a car parked there and it never gets a ticket 😡
I have many years experience riding and driving as well, and the risk definitely has changed. More traffic/congestion, different types of road users (teens on electric scooters!), distraction, poor driving/riding skills, and an overall entitlement on the part of all types of road users.
A garage auto policy offers coverage for legal liability for damage to customers’ autos….so an at fault accident (I.e mechanic responsible while test driving) should be covered by the dealer’s policy. A not at fault claim (DCPD) would be covered by the owner’s policy as it is a first party...

Obviously it would need to be worthwhile for a dealer to go that route, but the same would apply for a car rental. You may also have coverage on your policy that would extend it to legal liability for damage to non-owned autos.
A garage policy would cover a dealership. Their owned autos would more than likely be covered on a “blanket” basis as is provided by that policy type. So an accident on an unregistered/unplated vehicle would likely go unnoticed. For demo rides, you would sign a waiver, likely accepting...
