at this point i think we need better "nomenclature"
it gets confusing because everything falls under "ebike" lol
but to the outside people, there's no difference :ROFLMAO:
e-dirtbike, e-moto, e-moped, e-kickscooter
Literally emmo puts em all under "e-bike" on their website and then just...
I mean, you "ban" them. Don't enforce anything. Have a rise in food delivery while all other costs (esp gas these days) skyrocket.
So people just run to the cheap ali express specials. Even what i ride (e-unicycle) have had some brands with terrible reputations of catching on fire. But now...
Keep in mind, optical image stabilization on phones and motorcycle vibrations dont mix well together.
You might not get any issues (hopefully) but it's messed up lots of people's phones. I'm sure you won't miss your S4 but it's just something to remember :) If you just bust it out when you're...
So you're a moto rider but the price of gas has you clenching your wallet? You want to learn how to ride those without breaking the bank to see if it's for you? Introducing my Begode A5 which i got in Feb 2026 to learn how to ride those thing. I've enjoyed it greatly but now i want to upgrade...
if you want good footage you have to pay
the 360 cams are great because they capture all angles. if you want to cheap out, akaso 360 is a thing
dji also has a osmo 360 cam which is less expensive than the insta360 x5 or the go pro max2 versions, but not all editing platforms are the same
on...
at a provincial level theyre talking about looking into it
sure there are bylaws but no enforcement.
i mean i own a PEV myself but most of the behaviour i see is reckless in its unpredictability
issue is in a few parts
- not good solution (banning them doesnt remove them off the street)
- poor...
Things are moving along at the provincial level

at a moment where escooter population of kids has exploded
all the fb groups of "will someone think about the kids" arent impressed by their widepsread usage in the 8 y.o + crowd
Like i mentioned, most of the riders in sauga are late 30s and higher. Not too many crazy youngins in the hobby. A lot of them will test limits of speed, brake, turns, and a handful of them will also be taking them offroad making them even better on paved surfaces.
In toronto there's more of a...
So i can ride comfortably now. There's a group in the west end with a teacher. I'd made progress over 2-3 weeks by myself following youtube videos and what not. But there was a missing link where i needed someone to literally hold my hand to figure out how to keep going. After that initial...
Some cities have bylaws
(and some things dont make sense, like why arent cargo e-bikes allowed?! but e-scooters are?!)
Some don't. Currently there's not true regulations/definition/framework around the unicycles so while not allowed on roads it should be able to go on bike paths without issue...
It's all in the bylaws of the city you're in. So it varies.
As an example Mississauga has a lot of restrictions regarding ebikes and escooters but then they also had the lime/bird pilot running for 2 seasons already?
A lot of the people I know who use Euc are on multi-use paths or even on...
If you can't beat them, join them. At first i ordered because i was tired of waiting for the bus (last mile from my house to go station)
And now well... seems that with the gas prices going the way they are it might be a nice alternative to get around.
This is definitely quite the learning...
