i got back from a week trip down to North Carolina. on the way back, I did a portion of the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virgina. wow. just wow. I still have a grin. amazing. no traffic, no cops, puckering turns with no guard rails, great pavement. planning on going back when it's cooler.

been riding since 2000. At first with cruisers, now with a Vstrom. got tired of the limited range on my old bikes since I pretty much only do long distance now and dirt roads. Plus, I was over the entire leather/tough guy/loud pipes thing. I pretty much ride alone. not much into group riding.

I'm looking to purchase a motorcycle rim + tire to practice fixing flats + mounting and unmounting tires. Doesn't need to work, doesn't need brake discs. doesn't even need to be straight. Tire can flat/bald doesn't really matter. Rim can be scratched to hell, dont care! just needs to be tubeless
