I can pick it up and put in a tube and digitally balance it. I have been a licensed motorcycle mechanic for 25 years with a better equipped shop than many shops in business in the Toronto area. I have created technical training at 3 motorcycle manufacturers and trained many technicians across...
1976? I doubt the fuel mixture screw was capped back then. What are you using for an airbox? Or have you installed individual pod filters?..... which cause many starting/tuning issues. Unsteady idle is indication of worn jet needles allowing engine to find fuel when emulsion tube is supposed to...
Meet at the esso at Barton and centennial in Hamilton. Leave at 130pm. Niagara Falls about 4pm. Then turn south go along lake Erie shoreline then to caledonia and back on highway through Hamilton about 6pm or so. No newbs, cruiser bikes. Minimum bike would be an SV650 and that's if you're...
Towed my heavy bike up to Muskoka last Sunday and Friday to ride with a friend that lives in Dorset. Rode over to Parry sound, Rosseau, Aspdin, Bracebridge, Huntsville. Hope to get a ride in on my slow bike before putting it into storage mode.
This is the reason why I don't bother offering technical advice on forums anymore. I've been a licensed technician for 25 years and I've worked in the technical departments of 3 manufacturers head offices. I've designed and taught technical training across Canada to most of the dealer service...
I offer advice about wearing protective riding gear to police motorcycle riders. They especially don't like it when I say they're dressed like a squid. I think I'm well within my bounds as a tax payer to do so. I'm full armored leather, full time for almost a million kms I've put on in over 30...

I regularly do tires, brakes and basic maintenance for a number of Harley owners in Scarborough but I don't have the space to do engine work for them. They all take their bikes to Eagle Eye and they have nothing but good to say about them.
I originally logged in to this site today to post this story. It infuriates me that insurance companies do this to people. Are they requiring car owners to certify that they have stock headlights in their cars that don't blind every driver that they approach? I see HID and non factory LED...
Thanks for contacting me about this today. We'll set up something for beginning of next week and I'll provide you a letter at no charge because I loathe insurance companies as being the enemy of motorcycling in this country. Keep in touch.
I'll always give you credit for being a good rider Brian and being more responsible than I but I can surely say that you are well capable of exceeding ABS ability if you had to. In my opinion ABS is dangerous for those who don't count it.
...and, there is an ABS defeat dongle that plugs into the harness on the ZX10R to defeat the ABS for racing purposes but there isn't one for my bike. Stupid plan. So a highly experienced rider obviously has no use for ABS on a track yet a highly experienced rider on an H2 has no choice but...
