New Rider beginning to get it and things I have noticed.

Yep, they're real and available, but still a bit pricey. I'm wearing a hit-air vest in this pic. I got it at Speedworx (Racer5) in Markham. I know GP bikes and motostarz also carry airbag vests as well. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk

    Continue......or pack it in?

As I was reading your post and taking in the details, I was thinking 'I know this guy...' I don't have much advice on this but I will go riding with you any day if you do decide to get back on the saddle. I will PM you. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk

New Rider beginning to get it and things I have noticed.

I just got an airbag vest, and I have to latch/unlatch it to/from my bike every time. So now I have relearn the "seat belt" habit. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk

Red minivan with sportrack on roof left scene after hitting motorcyclist W74EJF

Innovv K1 dashcam system. Set and forget. 2 cameras, one in front and back. Cheaper than a gopro and no helmet mount required. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk

    Left turn at the lights

Lol, yeah but I wasn't trying to be flippant. Like you, I feel vulnerable in this situation, some intersections worse than others. All I can say is, don't point your wheel left, but straight ahead. Last thing you want is to be hit from behind into oncoming. But you probably already know...

New Riders...Start with a smaller bike!

Not entirely true, he started on an SS for purely aesthetic and vanity reasons. He wouldn't want to be caught dead with a 250 unless I misunderstood him. That said, at least he was honest about it. I'm not one to judge whether he can handle it or not.

No, it was inspired by the Ducati Monster which came before it. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk

Yeah, I think we all agreed it's depends on the rider in the first page, lol. I guess some people really feel the need to be acknowledged. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk

Maybe because some want the original sports naked instead of Japanese copycats. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk

    Textile vs Riding jeans

I held off buying mesh until this year when I got a great deal on a Klim Induction jacket, where their proprietary mil-spec Karbonite mesh is claimed to be up to 750% stronger than regular mesh found in other brands. (Hope I never have to find out...) Also comes with a full set of D30 armour...

    I Saw You: V.2.0

Guy on an FZ09 Saturday, we had both stopped for gas at Carnarvon on hwy 118, only to see the station had been shut down. Hope you found gas at West Guilford where you went looking. I had enough in the tank to make it to my destination in my Scrambler. We were just 30 minutes away from that...

Recommendations on bar end mirrors? Brand name or eBay?

I have the Rizoma Reverse retros as well. They came with metal expanding collets for the bar end mounting. I hear the rubber ones fail eventually. So far they work well, but you do give up some functionality for style because of the smaller coverage. Positioning is key. The install was...
