just got back from a nice evening ride around mid town. Felt glorious after being off the bike a few days. Also did an oil change, chain maintenance and fuel stabilizer.

My thoughts as well. I would also say there's a lot more traffic and distracted drivers out there than say 20 years ago. ATGATT would be natural for newer riders. Finally, I would think courses like the m1 exit are better now then what was available then.

I personally like the look of aged wax cotton, and have a cool Belstaff waxed cotton motorcycle jacket... however, it offers near zero abrasion protection. So now I only wear it off the bike. (And yes, the wax needs to be reapplied every few years or so to retain waterproofness)
I actually prefer the goggles to a face shield in cold weather because they don't fog up. Goggles or face shield, I still wear a balaclava. Snowmobilers seem to manage with goggles too don't they?
Unfortunately, the heated gear I'm using is for riding only as it plugs into the motorcycle battery.
Like I said, I get closeout stuff so sizes are scarce, but FWIW...
The Gyde Hero gloves I got at motorcycle superstore for $99 US - they are sold out, but the gauntlet version is still...
FWIW, I bought all my heated gear on closeout deals here and US for well over 50% off, or less than the price of regular gear. Deals are out there if you look.
Thanks, I really like them too, although my pic does not do them justice (possibly because of the slight off angle). Much better pics on skenelights.com.

lol me too, I was just doing a test ride. Super fun bike.
lol yep that's me. Been favoring this new helmet since I got it in May. Time to update the avatar I guess. PM me if you want to go riding some time. [emoji6][emoji106]
