Not realistic. No middle fingers were raised, and the word "sir" was used to address someone who clearly hasn't been knighted.
Lastly, how does the rider see into the van that the man is setting his GPS? Unless the van was lowered, and the riders head was leaning through the window into the...
A mass rally, where we all get together and ride our loud motorcycles through the streets of Toronto? Ironically, I'm sure we'd be more of a danger to ourselves.
What exactly are we trying to accomplish? What firm goal is there? Or is this just like another group ride-along, except now we're...
In my humble opinion, you'll probably want to upgrade the 250 once you get comfortable riding it, and peaked on it. In that case, you'd be better off buying a bike used, and selling it next season at a slightly reduced price depending on how many KM's you put on it. So if you buy one @ $4k now...
Stabbing someone in person is much more different than the Duke Nukem experiences you're accustomed to. First, you'd have to stop hermitting and step outside. Then, after your eyes adjust to the sunlight, you'd have to weild that butterknife with your weakly arms. If you're still able to rise to...
I'm very disappointed that you acknowledged I was right. I have nothing to counter with now. I do, however, agree with you that this site is funny. I would like to think that unless you had a post requesting information, or assistance in relation to something motorcycle related, your post will...
The last time, as I recall, you posted a complaint, it also took place on a ramp. You then proceeded to follow the guy, get his plate, and spend your lunch break at a police station filing a complaint.
Yet, you admitted doing 120+ when the speed limit posted is 100.
Epitome of cool. Stop...
Sometimes when I'm bored I email sellers on CL or Kj lowballing prices, asking incoherent prices, making appointments to view the phone with some absurd locales, or strange hours - or best of all, trying to barter for the object. Like firewood for a car.
You might not be in the loop, but there was a huge ride for cancer event happening over Saturday and Sunday. People rode their bikes to Niagra to raise money, and some of their friends went as shadows, or escorts with thier cars, or their bikes. The cops played the same role.
Like someone said in another thread, some people do not like the stigma of a scratched bike. It hurts their pride. It hurts their chances of getting laid. It provides an opening for people to think youre a terrible rider without knowing the story.
Me? I don't care. As I told someone else...
I would spend the rest of the week angry, and paranoid of everyone around me. When bitter enough, I would begin asking people if they have black electrical tape so you can tape up your mirror, and see if they start sweating balls.
I know a guy that went downhill into a puddle with one of those things, and had to peddle it home. Needless to say he didn't have a license, was in his late thirties, and that was likely the most expensive asset he owned.
