it actually was pretty easy, it helps if you have experience soldering but other than that everything else is written in the manual. It took me 8 hours in total because I took my time to make sure everything was perfect since it's a gift, i want it to last quite a long time.

i know this doesn't really answer your question but scorpion helmets all come with fog proof visors. They have a coating on them that will prevent any type of fogging. I've had scorpion helmets for 4 years and fogging was never an issue. Perhaps you can look into buying a scorpion for your next...
