I've got 85K on mine and it runs like a champ. Well maintained they will last well beyond 100K. If you're looking for one let me know, mine is for sale and I'm willing to deal.
When I had mine done, I was also told that the more expensive procedure used a more precise laser and preserved the shape of the cornea. The "regular" Lasik basically flattens out the cornea.
I had mine done (zyoptix wavefront lasik) at LasikMD in 2007. Best thing I've ever done, my vision is 20/15 or better and I had no complications at all.
I just swapped in a set of floorboards instead of the forward controls on my Meanstreak and it took care of the "feet forward" problems. There are some "sporty" cruisers like the Stryker and Meanstreak that are a lot of fun.
Have you checked with a dealer? Also search online for aftermarket gauges for your model, there likely are a lot of options for Harley. They should all be available in miles or km.
Not necessarily, but definitely be much more cautious. You would want very comprehensive service records and a good look over by a mechanic who specializes in the brand. Same thing goes double for old British bikes!
Doesn't matter if it's a cruiser or a sportbike or anything else, if it's been maintained well that much mileage is nothing. There's a perception in North America, and worse here in the GTA, that if a bike has more that 20K on it, it is junk. In most of the rest of the world a bike with less...

Thank you very much sir!
I agree, animals aren't the only ones who need help but they seem to be very near and dear to the hearts of many on this board.
A little help for the feline crowd? My finance and I are having our wedding guests donate to this rescue instead of giving us wedding presents. The lady who runs the rescue has been doing a great job with some really hard cases like the little kitten left beaten outside a McDonalds in Toronto...
With 125/250/500/600/700 cc bikes, I think the 125 was just edged out by the newer stuff. It doesn't make much sense to buy a 125 when the 250 is not much bigger and heavier, and is an all around more capable bike. Small and cheap is great but I don't think Honda was managing to sell too many.
Sadly after seeing the Sym in person, it doesn't look any better than the Chinese knockoffs. Hyosung used make bikes for Suzuki and that hasn't seemed to help their quality (see several threads on this forum about them blowing up).
Ural, though fairly well liked by owners, is also notorious for...
