This is absolutely 100% a prelude to removing free street parking for motorcycles and scooters. Designated spots + the upcoming pay by plate system together will end the free parking for us. I'm guessing within 2 years.
Search in this forum, there is another thread about it and I posted the links to get the plans. You will need the help of someone who speaks Russian, but the plans are quite cheap.
Between exchange rate, taxes, and the usual shipping hassles from the US, I found them to be a better deal. Plus, since they are in Canada there is no problem with the manufacturer's road hazard warranty.
pmctire.com I've gotten great deals from them on 2 sets of tires in the last year. Free shipping, for my snows they were ordered in the afternoon on a Thursday and they arrived at my mechanics before noon the next day.
Any decent painter can do it, it's just an additive for the clear coat. If you are looking for the bike to remain in a showroom condition it is definitely more work. Because it's an additive the painter can control how glossy or flat the finish is. The flatter the finish the harder it will be to...
It looks to me like like it should be every bit as good as a regular rivet link, but has to be made for the specific chain you are using. I have a good rivet tool so not really a help for me.

You're going to want to hit a couple of dealerships and try sitting on as many bikes as you can. A more touring style bike may be what you really want since it is upright and your feet are more directly beneath you so you can use your legs to take some of the shock from bumps. With a cruiser...
