Just for kicks I picked up the Rocksmith bundle at Costco last year. The game teaches you how to play, and has some cool mini games that make practicing the boring stuff a little better and the Epiphone Les Paul Jr. that was included is surprisingly good. The whole package was about $160.

Yeah, some people do just need more seat time. I'm glad to hear he talked to the office though, we get a lot of great positive feedback but if nobody ever tells us what they didn't like it's difficult to fix it.

Unless you're really short and light the 950 will be fine, just make sure to take your time and get used the extra weight compared to the bikes you used in your course. Spend some time in a parking lot to get a feel for the difference in how the bike handles at low speeds.
