No. lmao... :) The fan electrical has to go inside that metal box. Those screws block the wiring, but I'm weary of using that metal box as there's a slight crack from the hole I can see that was painted over. I'm worried they didn't brace the metal box. I'm gonna see if bldg maintenance...
