It sounds like the premise of this event was donation to charity and the incentive was to demo bikes and eat BBQ if you donate. If you wanted to ride a bike for free, why not plan to take another day off from whatever you were doing so you can test ride the bikes at your leisure without taking...

Really like this bike. I've never ridden one before but seems like a fun bike that's perfect for the city or back roads. Not too pretty (sorry!) so looks like it can withstand a few knocks around and probably wouldn't get stolen as easily.
