That's not good enough. The government is taking taxpayer money and not doing enough. They should install portable washrooms on the shoulders in case of diarrhea. Explosive diarrhea is a real life emergency so really, it is legal use of the lane.

Anybody with a Sport-Touring Motorcycle that Tours?

^ You know what you're missing? A blue waterproof convertible purse....

how often do you check your mirrors?

Do you mean pulling up beside you in the same lane as you? If so.....you're giving them too much space. Or do you mean in the lane beside you? If so....I'm not sure how they can be "culprits" since they ain't doing nothing wrong...

Yeppp....it's a carbed bike and yes, it does take a while as I learned from experience on the same year bike. Lol.

    I Saw You: V.2.0

Saw another black and red Busa coming up the 404 towards Markham...u? Also saw 3 sportbikes on the Don Mills exit (forgot north or south) parked on the shoulder of the ramp. I'm thinking something was wrong - otherwise, can't imagine why anyone would park there. An orange, blue, and another...

    What's your biggest fear?

My parents getting into riding. I'd feel like millions of parents when their kids say "I'm going to buy a motorcycle". Irrational? Yes. But like a parent, can't help how I feel!

i wanna go for my first ride but not alone

^ The problem is, when you can't 100% control your bike...you're not just putting yourself at risk but you could be putting others at risk, too. To be clear, I'm not saying you shouldn't go learn on your own or start riding on your own but not every situation is the same. And as a rider, you...

i wanna go for my first ride but not alone

^ SLIM & Julz, I agree with you completely. Gotta disagree. I know this is what everyone says but as someone who was very fearful and unsure (and frankly not too good on the bike at first) and has been in the OP's shoes? This is NOT the way to go. I'm not saying go on a giant group...

I used to get mad (and sometimes I still can't help myself) when fellow bikers do stupid things....but now I realize it's just a losing game. You can't help that some people are idiots....you also can't help that some people think we're ALL idiots. Only thing you can do is ride/act the way you...

    People actually buy this crap???

There's a much different mentality in the US/Canada. Ironically we pay a lot more for our "toys" and in most cases, use it a lot less....then talk about how something doesn't have enough speed, features, reliability, etc. I bet in any other country (and I'm not just saying the streets of...

    Toronto to Florida in June

Awesome pics! And thanks for the detailed breakdown - making the trip down to Florida in August and camping as well so nice to see a final tally of the cost. Do you have a route of your trip? I know the general areas we want to be in along the way but not sure how we'll "connect the dots" yet...

Are Fashion & Function Mutually Exclusive in Motorcycling?

Good thread topic. :) I don't think they SHOULD be but in reality, they still are for most brands. I think just in the last few years that I've personally been riding, brands and consumers are starting to see the light that fashion & function together is a good and honestly, in my own opinion...

    Retrofitting Jeans

Check Shift and Icon as welll - they also make women's riding jeans and are more "fashion forward". If she's petite, she might also find these more comfortable to wear as the "women's" riding jeans that are just a smaller version than men's often don't fit right in the waist, knees, etc. so...

Let's see a pic of your pet

Warden & Abigail. Half the time they're lovin' each other. The other half they're green eyed with jealousy. Lol.
