What do I need to know for buying a helmet online?

Go to a motorcycle show and try on a bunch of helmets. Take your time to properly analyze the fit and comfort. Take a note of the ones that fit you, not the ones that visually appeal to you. From there you have a shopping list. If you have a smartphone/internet access, check what the prices are...

    Hey!

There is an abundance of information to absorb during the off-season! Remember to research a particular subject in multiple sources because everyone's interpretation/opinion is different! Welcome to GTAM.

Post A Picture Of Your Latest Purchase

Heya, Xury's right. I got mine from eBay and it's a nice kit. All properly packaged, sorted and labeled. They even include a fiche to show you which bolt goes where just in case you aren't sure. This is the one I bought. I think it was 15% off when I bought it though. He sells kits for most...

    top 3 saves??

The Colin Edwards one, did he lean the bike too low where the bike lost traction, causing his body to fall over, or did he simply put his body over too much that he literally fell off the bike?

Can't wait to see Marquez on MotoGP

He definitely has GP championship material in him. I don't think he'll win it on his rookie year, but it won't take him long.

Biker blocks freeway to do burnout and propose marriage in middle of road

Here's a longer video of the same event, different cameraman. After the proposal part, they all head over to Hooters. Pay attention to how many bikes were part of this group....it's insane. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pvznB0I4W6I

    My NEXT Winter Mod

Question is, would that even be legal in Ontario? That car's safety integrity/features have been drastically altered. This would be an OPP magnet in my opinion. All that aside, I would consider doing that to a beater car if I didn't have a pickup lol.

    New Ford Police Interceptors

I feel the opposite. Could be because we live in different cities. Different police systems will have different contracts for sure. In Niagara the NRPS uses a lot of Crown Vics and a very few Impalas. On the QEW I only see OPP Crown Vics in the common speed traps, along with the Suburban truck...

    New Ford Police Interceptors

That's why I posted this. Over the winter if you see a regular Taurus behind you, try to get used to the look and shape of its headlights so you can recognize them as easily as Crown Vics. Same with tail lights.

Where to get helmet checked after fall

I think I would only trust the manufacturer to inspect the helmet. They are the ones that know the true specs of the outer shell that protects your melon. If it has been impacted even just slightly, it has already lost some of its protective abilities. I do believe a helmet dropped a certain...

    New Ford Police Interceptors

A Taurus with a base Mustang motor, nice combo. I see from that article that the EcoBoost is an option, which is probably the most logical setup. As you said, the lack of proper maintenance on their turbo'd cars will haunt them quickly.

    New Ford Police Interceptors

I know it's a Taurus, hence why I wrote "specifically designed 6th generation Taurus". They just don't want to call it the Taurus because the Police version has a lot of heavy-duty upgrades which makes it meet Police specifications. Cost-wise I think the Taurus will be a little more because...

    New Ford Police Interceptors

With the retiring of the reliable Crown Vics in late 2011, there had to be a replacement soon. Ford's answer is a specifically designed 6th generation Taurus which they are simply calling Ford Police Interceptor Sedan. I saw one for the first time yesterday from my "beloved" Niagara Regional...

How to almost crash like the pros

They pretty much all do it now. If I recall (i may need to be corrected), Rossi started doing it a long time ago and people noticed how much faster he was through turns so they all started trying it and now it's pretty much a must. Watch the first couple laps of any race, you'll see they all...

Moving on up to an SS

The SV redlines around 11,500 though, so to compare power delivered at a specific rpm for two completely different types of motors is sort of irrelevant. For day-to-day riding, the SV will rev lower than the R6 in the same situation. For track situations, the R6 is only getting warmed up at 7k...

Moving on up to an SS

Having come from an SV650S myself (see siggey), I can tell you that the learning curve won't be sharp at all. The SV has already accustomed you to a somewhat forward-leaning position and I remember the SV loving to lean in for the twisties. The bikes you are looking at are designed for twisties...

    2 Tickets, please advise.

For the tail light, whatever they said is "improper", just fix it and take pictures to prove it, will most likely get dropped. For the 29 over, did they say they got you doing that speed before or during the passing? If it was during a pass, you can simply claim that you were doing a...
