Thats a great price for a 2010, as long as it was maintained. He probably put a low price like that to reflect the higher-than-average mileage, so i dont know how much more he will budge.
Ask if he has maintenance records!
The V-Twin on these are very durable, that mileage wouldn't scare me. I...
It rained lightly in Niagara for about 5 minutes. I barely heard it.
I feel sorry for those who are, and will be affected by this in the next few days. :|
It seems Mother Earth is getting tired of our **** lately.
The stigma that short people can't ride certain bikes or should have them lowered is really annoying. It is such false information.
Lowering most motorcycles is generally not a good idea.
You don't need to flatfoot both feet. Sure, it's a little more reassuring to know you can, but you don't...
Definitely 3 because they look at your abstract. Your abstract only shows your convictions within the last 3 years.
@OP: Please tell your friend to buy a good pair of shoes and start walking. He needs to stay off the roads...
As long as you do your research beforehand and know what questions to ask, you will be able to make an educated decision as to which bike you want to buy. If the price is unbeatable but it's at a major maintenance milestone, call your shop to ask how much it would be to perform that task and...
Mileage on bikes isn't as bad as on cars. There's less to break down and generally these machines are driven in better weather than cars. These little motors are built to last a very long time with little upkeep.
What i would look into is what intervals the major maintenance are suggested for...
Went to Cayuga with my buddy after the stop in Dundas.
After about 6 runs we were both running even in the 11.8 and 11.9 range. It all came down to who was launching better at the end.
His Ducati 1100 V-Twin vs my little R6 inline-4.
Not bad for first timers.
Sorry to burst your bubble...
I had "three years experience" when I got my first bike. I was able to get insurance on my SV for 1250$ for the year instead of 3k+.
The GS500 is a great first bike. My gf has one right now and I rode it a lot last year since I didn't have a bike and my Jeep got stolen. Super simple bike, great...
Definitely yes.
They ask you how long you have had your license for, not how long you have actually ridden a bike for.
For most people a bike is a secondary/leisure vehicle so experience gains on bikes can vary way too much from person to person.
Some bikes sadly only see 1000kms a year...
I have a Bell Revolver Evo, it has integrated sun visor and it's modular.
Bell has a photochromatic visor option for this helmet but it's kind of pointless with the built-in sunshades. I believe it's because they use the same model of visors on multiple helmets and the others don't have...
As the latest posts have said, the helmets with built-in shades are a godsend on this topic. You never have to worry about bringing an extra shield in case you end up riding late.
I own one of these helmets and it just makes that part of my life easier. I am one of those people who hate wearing...
I had good prices given to me by Cornerstone insurance a couple years ago by mentioning I was a gtam member. Worth a free phone call right?
csib.org will have all their info.
Whatthehell happened to the weather?? Last I checked there was some sunshine. :(
http://www.theweathernetwork.com/hourly-weather-forecast/canada/ontario/oakville (this might change through the day, as I post this it's showing showers until 7pm)
11am edit: WunderMap radar shows it should all...
Thanks for the link!
I have had my bike run weird twice where it felt like it was running leeeean. As long as i was on the gas it was fine but stalled at a stop.
A simple key off, key on seemed to have got it running fine again.
Only happened twice on two separate super humid days. I figured...
