The S40 is capable of handling hwy speeds. I am an athletic girl and I had it at impoundable speeds comfortably. And yes with a passenger also. So keeping it above 120 for an hour or more wasn't a problem. And she will be happily surprised at how quick it can be. Talk to Gilligan if you doubt me.
I second Jason. Hes a good dude and most of his work is older harleys. But agreed he a busy man. Seen his shop... thought I had died and went to vintage heaven.
Im a chic that rides in heels and am an advocate for it. But I will not wear anything but wedges. I've heard horror stories of getting the peg stuck in the space. Also look for something that has the added ankle protection and be weary of laces. They get caught. The only motorcycle boot with a...
I tried time and time again to get people to be quiet. His intent was to help people. Was he doing something wrong?...yes. Did he deserve to get punished?... yes. Did he deserve to get his back stabbed by people he helped?...NO!!!!! I blame folks on here thanks to all their chit chat. If you...
There are ways to augment. And trust me there are benefits... When the fire alarm in the building goes off you'll start to realize how nice being partially deaf can be. Bitching partner.... Excuse for ignoring a task you were asked to do...
I would recommend the 883 personally from the Harley line. Sportsters have more cc's. The 883 is smaller and cheaper to buy. But keep in mind insuring a Harley wont be cheap regardless. Which I say the shadows are more feasible for a first bike. If she likes it then get a Harley for a second bike.
LMAO!!!!! I would happily spend a Saturday seated next to a paintball field just to watch that.... not only the refs trying to chase people down to smell them but the peoples reactions to being 'smelt' that **** would be amusing!
+1000000000. Snow tires do **** all if the driver behind the wheel can't drive in winter period. The amount of cars I saw going sideways last Friday was ridiculous I didn't go sideways once with all seasons.
I don't do snow tires either. I know what causes slides, know how much space to leave for braking. How fast to make movements. Honestly the only part that sucks about all seasons is you get stuck in the snow with no traction easier and it makes getting through intersections slower. I've seen...
If you are in the market for more. I suggest going stateside to get parts. Cheaper. Gilligan works for a dealership in Virginia Beach and can prob hook you up.

locO leoN is one of the founders. As is Tim but I don't know his handle on there. They are both in Toronto and can help you. Retro Grouch knows them and hes on here and there. He can be a big help as well.
Prob is they expire..... I had years of points racked up. They aeroplan put in this expiry clause. I have nothing now. Too easy to lose the points its a stupid system. Was much better when it was associated with Canadian Air.
+100000000000000000000!!!!
If I see a blinker, I let them in. Always unless it is unsafe or they are obviously being a dick. No blinker and I fight the person. My car is old.... I don't mind a ding. Other person tends to feel differently about their car.
Think because 'Motels' have a bad rep. And most folk stay away from them. Bikers realize the perks of having our bike right there, so all the better for us :)
I stay at Super 8 when travelling stateside. I just bring some alcohol hand wash and wipe stuff down. But otherwise have been more than content with my Super 8 stays.
The video appears to be from the states?!? In which case some States require eye protection. Therefore yes I can see the guy failing for not putting his visor down. It would be like not wearing a helmet here.
