Law Enforcement - The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.....

Re: Police State Canada 2010 and the G20 Summit Probably can't get in without RCMP issued ID so leaving is a moot point. We're spending a lot of time where I work to get ready for this (I work in RBC Plaza) so I'm surprised that folks that are in the restricted high security zone are not...

Law Enforcement - The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.....

Re: Police State Canada 2010 and the G20 Summit Yup Bad idea imo - if things get bad outside you will be locked in. Get a cot, sleeping bag and some food - seriously. You might be staying for a while. If you think the tab is expensive, think about the firms that are located in the zone...

Where to Rent a Cargo Van

Sit on the bike and tighten (best done with two people - one to tighten). When you get off, the bikes suspension rebound will help keep it tight.

    Aprilia RS 125

I know an 11 y/o (yes - 11) that does track almost every weekend on a Honda RS125. They for sure are not street freindly and are fussy bikes - you have to keep the revs high as it will bog at low RPMs and the power is a peaky on /off - not a good first bike. Oh yeah - unreliable for Aprilia...

All-you-can-eat asian food tues. nite meet

Further to Azia's idea of stretching Jamie's bike for 3 up, how about adding a sidecar to the R6 - let them do the leaning and knee-dragging for you:D That would be a legal 3 passenger system(?)...maybe hitch a trailer too - 4?

Props to Onu / Asian-Dragon - it was a great night and thanks to the restaurant for accommodating this....the ride to timmies was a bit scary (no lane discipline / staggered formation???).....overall a great night to meet some old faces and meet new ones too.:p

    9 year old passenger?....

I take my 10 and 12 y/o sons (soon 11 & 13 y/o) out every now and again. They are properly geared up to. I also take it easy when they're on as the bike becomes a pig but I do crack the throttle when it's straight and clear and I feel them holding me. They are good passengers and follow the...

Hey BumblebeeWill - the pace was quite fast in places - I didn't know we lost you? I thought you were at the Brooklins gas stn / Timmies? You had the yellow CBR? Nice exhaust sound. Where did we loose you? To come to think of it I recall that when Jllin went down I didn't see you there. Erik

New Rider, First bike: Which one??? (Guide to choosing your first ride)

I'm a newbie rider with a 2005 Ninja 500R - bought used with 2700 km. A perfect starter bike for me although it will do 0-100 in 4 seconds with forgiving handling. As an avid mountain biker I'm a believer that starting with the right bike will make you a better rider and you upgrade the bike as...
