Two up touring on a Wee Strom

Stay with Honda I find the CBF ok for solo but not comfy for 2 up touring - passenger is cramped and not comfy for rider. I just got the African twin which was best for 3 up touring. Me, my girl and my dog. 30' inseam and I am ok with the Africa twin.

    Riding alone. Pros and cons.

I know the feeling, I ride solo to new destination but like to ride with a group to revisit places I've ridden before. I would like to experience being toured for once :). I won't ride alone anymore as long as I have my dog around, best passenger to have. Only problem is finding meal stops with...

    Open face + no windshield = ????????

Simple explanation, older bike are not aerodynamic, windshield/fairing or a fly screen push are designed to push the air up above the riders head. Riding open face on bikes with this characteristic will have a greater chance of throwing a bug/ stone etch up to the face level. I get fewer hits...

    Africa Twin

Rode both the DCT and the Manual today. The DCT feel very odd. I got more confidence on the manual. It may take time to get used to but need to make decision soon.

    Alternate choice to a VFR

CBF1000FA 2010 and up. My old tourer was a Bandit 650 and was supposed to go up to a 1250. I ended up getting the CBF which has the same geometry and feel as the Bandit 650. Combined Linked_ABS-. Ample engine but you will miss the grunt of the engine (comparing with a Honda 919 and Bandit...

I can't see it well but it looks like your tires are holding well from getting squared. How do you find comfort with your stock seat? Please post more pics.

    v twin vs Inline 4

A fan of I-4 because I like relax touring longer distance ride. I-4 400 engines at 14K rpm is just great. I just got a new to me Vtwin and It was a blast. But was riding it after I got off a thumper. I can say Vtwin are fun but I prefer comfort. Just get one of each !!!!

Toronto to Vancouver one way... Fly with bike or Ride?

Nice rig, there are some good roads in crow's nest and you can stop at the hotsprings to warm up. Also you will be less miserable when it get wet. Make sure your strap will not rub on your fairing. What i learned from experience is to better put everything in plastic bags and stuff it your bag...
