    Paris under attack

Well... Ringleaders tied with Syrian-based terror groups http://www.wsj.com/articles/alleged-mastermind-of-paris-attacks-was-emir-of-war-in-syria-1447907485 Another Syrian connection is that at least one terrorist joined the refugees with a fake Syrian passport...

    Paris under attack

Well.... 1) Syria is overrun by terrorists. Huge chunks of it are controlled by the Islamic State and the al-Nusra Front (al-Qaeda). They'll continue being terrorists until our oligarchs decide it's time for them to become our friends 2) Some of those terrorists joined the stream of refugees...

    Syria - Who's fighting who

Well I have a couple of issues with that video, even though they are not on the crux of the matter... 1) The claim that most Syrians are against Assad. Had that really been the case Assad would have been history a long time ago 2) The claim that he killed 250,000 people. It's the total casualty...

Turkey just shot down a Russian jet...

Why wouldn't they retaliate if, for example Turkey violates Armenian air space (where Russia has SAM's), Syrian air space or fires against non-ISIS troops on Syrian territory? They won't be able to resist committing either of those actions and what's good for the goose.....

    Syria - Who's fighting who

Nowhere... I just started following https://www.reddit.com/r/syriancivilwar/ but every source has its agenda... You have insurgent tweets pushing their party line, the Syrian media agency running theirs, our MSM running American/Saudi party line, RT running the Russian propaganda. Basically you...

    Syria - Who's fighting who

Not a bad rundown but it's heavily biased against Assad. Syrian Spring was an American/Saudi orchestrated astroturf movement and there are some doubts about how "unarmed" those "peaceful protesters" were and how (even with some defections) they got armed so quickly. Also, the video glosses over...

Turkey just shot down a Russian jet...

You are correct... In that region, you don't have a major ISIS presence. It's al-Nusra Front territory. For those of you who don't know, al-Nusra Front is Al Qaeda in Syria. The problem is that Turkey is friends with al-Qaeda and loyal to their allies, to a fault. Also, the Saudis would get...

Turkey just shot down a Russian jet...

Well, the Russians didn't wait to put on a show of strength.. They are just waiting for the Turks to make the slightest misstep now.. https://www.rt.com/news/323329-russia-suspend-military-turkey/

Turkey just shot down a Russian jet...

I've been following this war pretty closely.. Here are some relevant facts... Background Info: 1) Turkey has definitely been backing all sorts of insurgents including the al-Nusra Front (al-Qaeda in Syria) and the Islamic State. They even bombed NATO-allied Kurdish troops and shelled their...

We Know you Ride, But do you Shoot?

Re: We know you ride, but do you Shoot? Neither was Steve. What he did was equivalent to leaving an unprotected baby alone with known child-molesters.

We Know you Ride, But do you Shoot?

Re: We know you ride, but do you Shoot? An official bulletin isn't out yet and there is no official position, for now. But this is definite proof that the Cons did absolutely nothing for us in almost a decade. Instead of fixing the law, he still left us in the hands of unelected bureaucrats...

We Know you Ride, But do you Shoot?

Re: We know you ride, but do you Shoot? Yep... I've never had a reasonably priced gun sit too long on CGN EE. In general I see what the going rate is, reduce it by 10% and it's gone in hours. I value my time too much to deal with a whole bunch of tire-kickers. Just make sure to note cash or...

We Know you Ride, But do you Shoot?

Re: We know you ride, but do you Shoot? In general they like to sit on gun parts longer than anything else. Frequently it's to ensure compliance with the law, so they have to make phonecalls and it moves at the speed of government.

We Know you Ride, But do you Shoot?

Re: We know you ride, but do you Shoot? Quite common and nothing to worry about.. Some clear customs quickly, while other shipments can be stuck for up to a month (that was my personal "best" for an order that had a stock, a handguard and some mags). On a side-note, a buddy told me he's...

    off duty cop

Just a reminder that the law against using cell phones while driving has a clear exception when contacting emergency services. So, if you're calling 911, you're in the clear. Of course, this is irrelevant when on 2 wheels

Paul, you need to patch the forum

Isn't LastPass a service so your passwords are in a cloud? Bad idea.. Keepass keeps the information local but I can access the database with my Linux computer, Android phone, wife's Windows computer and you can also install Keepass software on a Mac or an Iphone.

Paul, you need to patch the forum

That's why it's cruicial not to reuse passwords. Use a password wallet like Keepass so you only have to remember one and use the program to generate/store the rest of them for you.
