What are you talking about, I took the course I think in 2010 and did one year of marshal, they do get paid a day rate. Every organizer is different. I did it as an intro to myself to get into racing, my idea was to do some days with SOAR as a marshal and learn how a race weekend is organized...

Many of us haven't really stopped riding. Rode trikes and my street bike in Jan, Feb and March. Overall consistently I will start riding by the end of March.

It does help alot. Even when I went back to dirt bikes from superbikes there are always specific things that you forget to check so this is a good list to spark the memory. Appreciate the time you took to respond.
