i ride a fz6. dont feel any heat from the exhaust. in the summer i wear full leathers for most rides. i have also ridden a 636 for a few hours. felt no heat from it either. sitting in traffic you might feel engine heat, but you will with any bike.
dont think i will make it out tomorrow morning. 2 degrees and rain is not the most fun to ride in.
is anyone going to to bike show tomorrow. it looks like a good show to pick up a new soa hoody or some grooming tips for my full on goatee.
yup, you have it right. flat tire on a bike doesnt mean instant death. if you can afford a new tire and it will make you sleep better at night then go ahead and replace the tire. i find it weired that a bike shop would want sell you a whole new tire rather then patch it for 20 bucks:rolleyes:
this crew sounds like fun. how do i become a member of this crew. do i have to ride a HOG and wear baggie jeans? i guess you meet up and watch SOA together. that sounds like great night of fun to me. after watching SOA we can show off our new skull bandanas and wallet chains. so where do...
i guess i will have to take my bike out of hibernation saturday. it was a waste of time putting it away. it has been in hiding for less then a month.
this should be a fun riding season. upgrading the suspension on the fz and a trip to the gap already planned!
not everyone puts around on a scooter. most bikes dont have a windshield that works worth a damn in normal riding positions. so we need to wear a ff helmet.
if you dont want to wear a full face helmet that is your right. but i will be the first person to point and laugh at your messed up...
Replace the spark plug while you are at it. Two strokes eat up a lot of plugs. Buy a ngk iridium plug. They last a lot longer and are well worth the money.
