Thanks everyone for the good comments. Maybe it is better to ride South rather than ride East! Food, Gas, motel and beers are much cheaper in the State than Quebec:p
Here is the exact route we rode. No pictures though as this is a real riding trip and I didn't bring my camera (well, I didn't want to get yelled at for stopping every 5 minutes to take pictures like the previous rides!!!)...
Glad you made it home safe and sound. I heard you fired the bike this morning and opened the door, you were gone.
Boarder wasn't bad at all, just like Friday. Dave was as quick as we were in the Nexus line. Alex want to shop at the duty free so just three of us rode back together. Got in...
Yes, people are taking advantage of the last long weekend before school starts so they can maximize their vacation without taking too much time off. Evening will be fine for tomorrow.
Gaspe, Quebec - Postponed to next year
I am taking the week of September 9th off and thinking about riding out to Gaspe, Quebec for a couple days. I am flexible on the departure date. If anyone is interested, please post here or PM me.
Here is the route...

8 is the max number of riders I would like to have. Unless there is dropouts, this ride is closed.
Everyone is working on Friday so it will be meeting in Hamilton around 5:45PM and depart around 6:00PM. Hopefully we will get to Olean around 8:30 for dinner. If anyone wants to come after dinner and meet up before mid-night that's fine with me. Humphrey or Chapel Hill road is dark at night...
684K is doable, and I know it is long. I actually done the similar loop with 250 and 33 just the two of us and made it back to Cumberland in the late evening. This is the reason I want to stay at Harrisonburg this time. Last year 3 of us headed out on 33 West from I81 and loop back through 28...
If everyone can leave on Friday evening, that would be great. We did that twice and stayed at Olen to beat the boarder lineup on Saturday morning. Here are the potential routes.
Saturday...

We are going back on the labor day long weekend, weather permitting.
50 is great too, especially the section between B and C (just like the dragon, but more dangerous)...
We are heading down to VA and on the coming up long weekend, and will be riding through Pa on the way down.
My favorite roads are 44, 144, and 414. Scenic light house Dr at Warren is also a great road, but not as long.
250 and 33 are still the best besides the tail of the dragon.
Roads...
As the subject heading says. The plan is to leave either on Friday evening or Saturday earlier morning to beat the traffic at the boarder. Return on Monday. Some of us have Nexus passes so you will be on your own on the way back at the boarder crossing.
Limit seats to 6 due to the distance...
Fall will probably be the the 2nd or 3rd rides to the area! Probably will be doing similar routes to Bear Mountain area like the last two thanksgivings.
Pa is so easy to do for me (at least from where I am). It is probably the same distance for me to go South as to the North (Huntsville area).
