If you are down in Virginia, you should give this route a try. You won't be disappointed. The road pavement is top notch even at the curves. Some section is just like the Tail of the Dragon! https://goo.gl/maps/gnxz1L2tFeA2

Virginia and West Virginia - June 30 to July 4

We were going as fast as we can, but then there are so many great beautiful scenery and I have to stop often to record my memories:-) It is definitely not like riding North that we spend 4 boring hours on the 400 either up or on the way down! We out to enjoy life, not to race to the...

Virginia and West Virginia - June 30 to July 4

Will provide the details once I finalize the route. I am trying to limit it to 400 to 500 km per days to make it comfortable. Repeat experience proved that 600 to 700 km twist roads will take all day (I do mean full day starting from the morning and last until dark) to complete!!!!

Virginia and West Virginia - June 30 to July 4

We will be riding down. It will be twist roads on the way down and back once we cross the border. It is not practical with the trailer while we are on the twist roads majority of the time. The trailer actually is an inconvenient for this ride. Even going to the gap, there are so many great...

Best type of bike for long distance commuting/touring?

I demoed the FZ09 a few years ago. It was the easiest bike to ride around. The Yamaha FZ07-FZ09-FJ09 etc are also great choices.

Ride up to Orangeville area - Sunday, May 20, 2018 (Tomorrow)

If you are in the East side, you better off ride the Port Hope back roads and go up to Peterborough area. You probably have better roads that way than this side. This is really for riders on the West end who wants to do a few hours short run for the day instead of a full day. We used to do...
