And from my experience it is illegal to ride with on hand in Alberta. I can scan the my friend's ticket he got last week. Idiot thought it was funny to wave to a speed trap. Wasn't even speeding, cops pulls him over and gives him a ticket for riding with on hand, missing front reflectors...
