GS500F can also have an issue where it gets fuel starved when cruising on the highway. 100 usualy won't do it, but go for 30-40 mins at 120-130km/h and it may rear its head, happened to me just last weekend on the 403. You can try popping out the fuel filter in the gas tank and give that a blast...
I think this will be good incentive for me to get my resume updating and looking for a real job. Sure this one lets me surf online all I like, but it doesn't really pay the bills to get a car before upgrading my bike.
At least he died feeling free from the man, or mashed down hair. Feel bad for his family though.
edit: does a full face helmet actualy protect you from breaking your neck if you land head first? I'm not sure if the helmet would brace against you shoulders early enough or not.
Always a fun moment when you realize your going in to fast for a corner. I guess I could suggest using your high beams more often at night? Hope you can get back on the road soon.
Would be nice to compare the sv 650 to the gixxer 600. 750 for fun. Never been to a demo ride before myself, do you just ride them around a parking lot? or do they let you go for a short ride?
Yeah, but if you carry with that reasoning, and not far I might add, you can make the argument if you should allow motorcycles at all. Perhaps require extra coverage in your insurance for brain damage if you want to go without your helmet.
Ask for all those sorts of things through disclosure requests, you want everything in writing and legal. You should have the case won before you even get to trial.
Well, I've gone through my first ticket, pretty similar to yours. First step is to either mail in the ticket with a request for trial, and make sure you wish to dispute the evidence. Safer bet if you don't mind the trip, is to go hand it in in person at the court house for where you got it...
This just got put in recently at Paramount and Marston.

Of course it takes people a while to figure out that a new stop sign works...
Yeah, I honestly prefer a heavy rain to a light one, then the drops will actually fall/blow off the visor. Small stuff just sits there affecting visibility.
I kinda have to wonder about these people getting bored with 250-500 bikes. About the only difference I see is how quickly and badly you get into 172 territory between corners. Have these people who are bored of 250's already removed their chicken strips? Almost dragging knees in corners...
I'll post a picture later, but I've been rather happy with my set up. I use a tomtom go720, with a ram mount. The mount is attached to the front fairing braces, and goes up so its just infront/above my console. Its somewhat under the windscreen, but not enough to entirely protect it when stopped...
I'm thinking of that bike for when I upgrade. I sadly doubt I'll get a quote that low. But if he's over 25/married, and been riding for 3 years plus, isn't downtown toronto, I don't see that being beyond reason given its not a SS to insurance.
Heh, I love doing that as well. Just make sure your checking the intersection well as you roll up, Its a great way to get friendly with a red light runner as well.
Well, turns out its not as bad as I thought. Here is the situation I found myself in.
I decided it was time to book my m2 exit test, and when booking, they ask you for the license expiration date. Mine said spring of last year.... Yeah. So I apparently, I had been riding around with an expired...
Quick Questions, what kinda % increase do most insurance companies apply to premiums if the driver has a lapse in being licensed for over a year. No suspension, just never renewed?
