Also check to see if the lockers will even fit a Helmet. They don't at Mohawk, so I had to carry mine around with me, or leave it on the bike, at a college, with alot of dumb kids.
"The CBP officer noticed discrepancies under the woman’s clothing near her chest, and referred her for a more intensive inspection."
Sounds like the opening lines to a porno, lol. Might be best to pick a female border guard if your going to hide stuff in/around your tits.
Nah, the gsx-650f really is a heavy pig. I honestly didn't notice the weight much, but was also mostly just straight riding. That and a my own gs500f isn't exactly a light weight either (edit: nvm, its stuck in my head that its over 500 wet when its closer to 400). I doubt trying to lift a...
I think two important things should be added specifically.
1. Only pass when you have personally made sure it is safe to do so. I've done, and have seen others do it, resulting in mad dives back into your lane half seconds before a head on collision, and cutting/pissing off the cagers you...
Hmm, I'm interested in comparing the fz6r to the gsx650f from the Suzuki demo day. And I just so happen to have my M test on the 9th. If the whole license thing keeps people away, I might actually get to test more than one bike, so good for me I guess.
I was out yesterday for an hour or so around 2 or 3pm. Just for the hell of it I decided to see how bad it would be in full gear, in my all black Kevlar 2 piece suit suit. Like this but black http://www.motoport.com/Ultra%20II%20Kevlar%20Jacket%20blue,gray.jpg . Stepped outside and the suit held...
Ah, when I first read it, it sounded like you had more time to react. I'd think if you were on your bike it would have been even easier assuming you didn't target fixate. You'd be in the left tire track of the right lane, then you'd move over to the right tire track of the left to avoid (4...
Damn, I was going to guess he was in full matching gear, matched to his bike, and that he had no concept of petcocks or reserve fuel. That was still a glorious day when a guy like that came into the local timmies on a brand new gixxer and tried to changed gears like it was a kick start. I think...
I can't offer to much I'm afraid. But I did a demo ride on gsx650f, and it tends to get reviewed alongside the 650 twins and other de-tuned 600's. From the couple reviews I saw, overall the fz6 did very well. I'll leave it at that, best bet is if you can actualy test ride one for a bit. I was...
Yeah, It used to bother me. These days I can usually predict when a drivers about to do something dumb, and can comfortable avoid them. Lets me just shake my head and laugh at how bad they are. I have the rare occasion I slip up in a small way, and am lucky enough that there was no other car to...
Well, the shim could still be spun easily, so seems there is at least some clearance on the tight ones. My first attempt at a shim tool met with little success, I'll change them later when I'm not working in 30 degree weather.
Actually managed to not make a huge mess with the gasket sealer...
I'm seeing two methods for checking the valves clearance on a GS500. The manual says to align the notches on the end of both cams so they point inwards, then check 3 of the 4 clearances. Then you rotate the engine so the notches face away, and check the final one.
The other method I've seen...
Yeah, got there about 9:25. Signed up for the gsx650f at 1pm. Would have been nice to try the dl650 and the gsxr750.
Another guy there had just sold his gs500 and tried out the gsxr600, he very much liked it, used monster to describe it. As for me, I was enjoying the smooth and quiet from the...
Since I'm in Hamilton area, I have to ask if you work for beer? Just for future reference, unless I manage to horribly mess up replacing my rear break pads and valve cover gasket.
I don't think there would be an issue, hell all an x ring is is an o-ring with a little extra on the outer and inner edge, might as well be an o-ring imo.
