60% chance of thunder showers. I rolled the dice and lost miserably.
Tarantula downpour. =(
Glad I wasn't the only crazy who showed up. Two other peeps were there too. =p
Fun ride. Great to be back on a bike and slowly building up confidence.
Sorry I had to take off so quick right after the ride. I had to show someone my basement appartment... which is still available for rent by the way.
Shameless plug...
lol, thanks and fine, I'll post one! This is just a preview. I'm going to go back to the crime scene as soon as I can, take more pics and post a thread to wear your gear!
Heya,
Lot of stuff happening tomorrow plus chance of rain. =/ If this is still going on, you guys can feel free to bring $21 cash for this:

It says Paypal only, but since I am already there and we need 7 more people, you can sign...
When I come to a known intersection which isn't too busy, I bring my bike to a complete stop, then accelerate before the need to put my foot down.
I hope that will hold up in court should the need arise.
Heya, I'm not. Here are some people who are:
ladyhawk, The Last Boyscout, Katapult, Rob MacLennan, JP, Isis, WoBblyCaT, Aminal, blue zx6, lil red bird, TheGradyTrain, infernobuster, YYZSKI, Lighta

Nah, I was the one posing on a yellow Ninja 500. That was my second week with these guys. They find some amazing twisties. I heard they have much better routes too. Can't wait to do it again.
Still a really fun ride. Thanks for leading and I guess showing everyone that 125 cc is enough if you know how to use it. :p
Hope to see you guys again next week!
Lol, after you and Rob left, we had a Civic want to race at a red light. That was kind of funny. :happy3:
Also saw a couple people pulled over on the way home, maybe all these cops had something to do with the ambulance we saw...
But honestly.. I was looking forward to the strippers you guys...
You can definitely ride that 250 d00dz.
Thanks for letting a noobie tag along today guys. Those were some amazing roads. Was a pleasure riding with and meeting you guys!
The importing company I was going to use was going to handle all the paper work and fees. I ended up not using them and just doing it all myself, but they said they would handle everything.
Yes, I imported a new bike with just birth certificate and driver's license. Not 100% sure about used bikes, but I figure it should be the same.
Either way, the Americans are still going to be pricks about it. :toothy4:
Here is my experience with brining a brand new bike across the border. This is not a step by step guide, it’s just all the steps that I did. If you want a real guide, please read and study this post repeatedly:
