60% chance of thunder showers. I rolled the dice and lost miserably. Tarantula downpour. =( Glad I wasn't the only crazy who showed up. Two other peeps were there too. =p

Fun ride. Great to be back on a bike and slowly building up confidence. Sorry I had to take off so quick right after the ride. I had to show someone my basement appartment... which is still available for rent by the way. Shameless plug...

When I come to a known intersection which isn't too busy, I bring my bike to a complete stop, then accelerate before the need to put my foot down. I hope that will hold up in court should the need arise.

Nah, I was the one posing on a yellow Ninja 500. That was my second week with these guys. They find some amazing twisties. I heard they have much better routes too. Can't wait to do it again.

The importing company I was going to use was going to handle all the paper work and fees. I ended up not using them and just doing it all myself, but they said they would handle everything.

Yes, I imported a new bike with just birth certificate and driver's license. Not 100% sure about used bikes, but I figure it should be the same. Either way, the Americans are still going to be pricks about it. :toothy4:
