Yes. Convictions received while riding a bike are ratable on your car insurance. Similar to convictions received while driving a car are ratable on your motorcycle insurance.

    No-fault isn't working for motorcyclists

It is actually the opposite. Regardless if you are at fault, or not at fault in an accident, your own insurer pays for your losses and is unable to surrogate.

    Got a good Wawanesa agent?

Wawanesa has great rates for bike insurance, especially if you add home and auto with them (50% off the base rate). For riders who have been licensed less than 6 years, they will only insure you on non sport bikes under 750cc (even a Kawasaki 250 they will not insure). My son Chris and I deal...

Mcdougall Insurance? 1500 a year for 600cc SS?

It must be through Wawanesa. They have great rates for SS 1000cc and under if you have been licensed 6 or more years. So if OP's friend was licensed at 19 or before it makes sense.

Best insurance company to insure a Ninja 300?

It depends on how long you have been riding and how many years of continuous insurance you have held. The ABS model will be slightly cheaper to insure. Aviva should be very competitive if you are a new rider with the training course completed. Contact/PM me if you would like to obtain a quote...
