    Scala G4, worth it?

Which Zumo do you have? I have 550 (mono BT). Zumo connectes to cellphone only via handsfree BT protocol. You cannot listen to your iPhone music via Zumo! What you can try to do is: 1. Pair iPhone HF (mono two way protocol) to Zumo. 2. Pair iPhone A2DP directly to G4 3. Pair Zumo handsfree to...

    Scala G4, worth it?

F4 is an excellent device. I have it for several months, and it works perfectly. Stereo/mono sound quality is exceptional, speakers are very load even with earplugs. Noise cancellation works better than anything else I've tried before. I use it with Zumo 550, stereo BT dongle and Samsung Omnia...

Importing a Motor Vehicle To Canada (the be all end all)

I called RIV prior to importing the bike and was told, that they only accept 2 types of letter from dealerships as "Recall Clearance": 1. Warranty Vehicle Inquiry 2. Vehicle History Printout If you have anything but these letters, RIV won't accept it, and you'll have pay BMW Canada $500 + tax...

Importing a Motor Vehicle To Canada (the be all end all)

I just imported BMW motorcycle from US at the end of October. I got "Warranty Vehicle Enquiry" letter from US dealership for free, and RIV accepted it without questions. $565 for a piece of paper???? I think it's too much...

Importing a Motor Vehicle To Canada (the be all end all)

Anyone has a link to an official site where it says there is no duty on all motorcycles imported from US? I could not find one.

Importing a Motor Vehicle To Canada (the be all end all)

Sorry, if the question has been already answered, but because this website does not allow search on the words less than 4 letters long (like "BMW"), I could not find an answer. Anybody imported BMW bike from US recently? I have a question about a recall letter. In spite of what is written on RIV...

    BE WARNED!! www.ridersdiscount.com BE WARNED!!

I'm sure you DO know that you MUST pay GST/PST on any goods you bring from or buy in US!? Unless it's less than $20 Canadain in value. So, if you're not hit with tax's (that happens from time to time) - consider yourself lucky.

    BE WARNED!! www.ridersdiscount.com BE WARNED!!

I think this $50 are GST/PST + $5 Canada Post brokerage fee. Believe me, if they would've shipped it UPS, you'd pay ALOT more than that!

I help set rates for a Major Canadian Insurance Company! Some thoughts . . .

Agree. For instance, if I have 2 exact same cars insured by the same insurance company, shouldn't the second car cost ~80% less (liability) than the first one? Why do I get only 10%-15% off on the second car? Why do I have to pay liability twice? Isn't it a pure fraud?

Copy of the M Test (M2X) checklist!

Just passed the test in Oshawa. Thanks for the checklist! Zero mistakes/marks. And the only preparation was reading the attached PDF. I don't understand those people who pay $400 for M2 exit courses. Unless you have not been riding for a long and forgot how to do it - DON'T WAIST YOUR MONEY...
