Need some advice - looking at a ktm

Hey guys, I'm looking to get a bike to use around town and in the weekend for some dual sporting. At first I thought the DRZ400SM would be the best choice, but I've also been reading about the ktm's, especially the 525, 530 EXC. I found a really nice 2005 KTM 525 with almost no mileage on it and...

    Ukraine anyone?

This is still happening all over the world and I mean almost everywhere. Americans and the West operate in the exact same manner, but they're much better at playing the PR game(media) and manipulating the masses. The Russians are have a more straightforward, no bs approach. This is one way to do...

    Ukraine anyone?

100% correct. I hope they'll avoid a civil war fuelled by the West's hypocrisy and economic interests. I still remember what happened in Yugoslavia in the 90's. If the Russians manage to avoid an all out war and keep their interests in Ukraine(Crimea region which has historically been Russian...

    To sellers of Bikes

Selling a bike is a huge hassle in TO, at least for me. I had one guy this summer come to see my VFR, sat on it with his wife on the back and asked me to take a pic of them. Afterwards, after looking at the pic on his phone decided his position on the bike is too forward and he's not buying the...

So, the insurance black box monitors are here

Get ready for 24/7 surveillance of pretty much everything we do from the way we drive to our online activity. And no one will do anything about it. We're too busy worrying about the next iPhone or the next bike we'll be getting with our hard earned savings.

2014 Honda Grom motorcycle looks awesome [w/video]

In Thailand(SEA) these little bikes are very popular(Kawi makes them too), people here are using them for commuting around town, etc, but I can't see them being very popular in Canada. Pretty expensive for what you get, not very practical(can't beat a scooter for the same money), you need a bike...

Dirt Roads, Trails, Single Track Map

I'm very seriously considering getting a good dual sport like a wr250r. Is it worth it living in the GTA? Are there enough trails and open dirt roads around(besides ganny) to justify getting one?

    Considering getting dirty.....

Dirt is the way to go. More fun, safer. Only downside is that we don't have many options around GTA besides Ganaraska.

pulled in at the Niagara border

The canadian border agents have more power than you can imagine. This spring I brought a motorcycle from the US and they even took my iphone and asked me for the passcode to search through my emails and documents on the phone, looking to prove that I've been lying to them about the price of the...

    Hotter than hell out there

Lived in different parts of the world like Singapore, Thailand, DR where temperatures like today are normal everyday and rode scooters and motorcycles on a daily basis in shorts and t-shirt. If you're concerned with your safety don't ride, if you do, get some knee and elbow pads. Simple.

Monday July 8th - careful out there

+1 After such a **** winter to be hit with this crappy summer I don't know how ppl can take it. I'm lucky that I can travel extensively, but don't know what I would do otherwise. Probably contemplate moving somewhere else.

Monday July 8th - careful out there

I had to escape from my condo building(no water no electricity) so I took my bike and rode over to my parents in Scarborough filtering and riding on sidewalks. Otherwise I would've been stuck for hours in traffic. It felt like a scene from Mad Max :)
