I did just that, in 2010 April, I bought a used 2007 SV650 for $4000 in PA,US + all other costs it came to around $5000. Put another 10,000kms on it during the riding season then sold it in Sep. for $5500. How's that a bad deal?

Get a used bike from the US, you'll save some serious cash. Search on cycletrader.com and http://www.searchcraigslist.org/ Look at bikes in Ohio, PA, NY which are fairly close drives.

How does this work? I'm planning to cross the border and come back with two dirt bikes on a UHaul trailer. These are only dirt bikes, off-road only. Do I need any paperwork for the bikes or anything? Thanks.

Hey guys, after much deliberation and research, I've finally narrowed it down to a CRF250X. Now, my questions is, can I easily turn this bike into a street legal dual sport? I found a package online, but I'd like to hear it from someone that actually did it and insured it. Thanks.

I know, i've been thinking about this, but honestly the GS lineup scares me, especially after reading several horror stories online. At least the crf250l is cheap and i can mod it to get it as close as possible to what i need. It takes 2up, decent off-road, its reliable and with a bigger tank...

I don't know which one to get. I want to do a bit of everything from commuting to some adventure/enduro riding and they both have their pros and cons. Forget about f800gs or the trumpet, too expensive and too many reliability issues. Need some advice on this one folks! :)
