Stisted Road South out of Sprucedale has some work being done on it as of last week. I was planning on riding it but it's chewed up just as it heads south out of town. Not sure how long of a stretch they are working on....I opted out of it.
Guys no need to every be bored riding cross the Prairies....if you are chances are you are the Trans Canada....sorry bout your luck.
Qu'Appelle Valley north of Trans Canada in Sask is beautiful....anything south of Trans Canada in eastern Alberta is also beautiful. I've driven that bloody #1 Hwy...
I live in North Bay and conditions are much better now than in the past few weeks. Air is clear here. 69 had intermittent closings in the past few weeks but I believe Parry Sound 33 fire is holding and not growing. All depends on wind direction if you'll be getting a lung full during your ride...
Here's the response they sent ....
Thanks for your inquiry. You are looking for the Pulse Pro Speakers. These are our top-of-the-line speakers that feature a bigger driver over the standard speakers. Not only will they deliver more volume, quality, bass, and responsiveness, they also feature...
I use Uclear and had great service. Bought it used and it had the mics built into the speakers. Emailed them and told them I wasn't happy with quality of voice....they sent the newer version with the mics on cords so I could place them more strategically. Problem solved....except that volume on...
Route 1 north is great. No problems with fuel. There can be lots of police as you head west out of Sudbury. Speed limits through and around some of those towns is strictly enforced. No fuel on 129 north to Chapleau but just gas up before. Good route...just be careful with speed.
If you miss out on visiting Petoskey and heading north west along the tip of Mich to Mackinac Island you'll miss the Tunnel of Trees http://www.motorcycleroads.com/75/309/Michigan/Tunnel-of-Trees-Road.html#sthash.o0PMCpfQ.dpbs .... and also some beautiful roads on the northern UP along the coast.

Do you use Spotwalla? If not I'd suggest you add the Inreach to it. Great program. https://spotwalla.com/index.php
I'd suggest you wear it on your person. If you and the bike get separated in an emergency somehow then you wont have access to it. Many folks will wear it but have the antenna...
If you are looking for socks...and you should...consider these... https://www.injinji.com/
Not cheap but man what a difference on a hot day with boots on.
When we did ours a few years ago we started in North Bay and ended there...going clockwise around Huron. The organiser said it was fine. They started and ended in Michigan...going counterclockwise. I'm sure the same applies to these rides.
There are three organised Iron Butt SS 1K(saddle sore) rides which pass through Ontario this summer. They organise all the paperwork and applications for you in order for you to receive your cert. I did the Lake Huron one a few years ago. Here are the links......
Ontario/Quebec...
Shane's link works for me...and it's a great choice. I live in North Bay and ride those roads regularly. Something to see in the area of Burk's Falls is Screaming Heads...
Agreed! Also establishing School of Mental Health ASSIST in every school board in the province. Before that there was nothing to support young people in school. How about free prescription meds for everyone under 25.
