Thanks, will be calling Mantha and Dalton Timmis for sure. Riders Plus was one of the first I called, and while not as ridiculously stupid as Intact, they still gave me a pretty high quote.
I'm considering either a sportster 1200 or a couple different dyna models and got absolutely ridiculous quotes through my current insurer (Intact)..
Does anyone have any input on where to go for a fair rate for an HD bike? I'm 25, 8 years riding, clean record. This would be my 5th bike. Thanks.
I got my Arrow 2-1 for my Bonneville from Sturgess ordered in no problem. Not cheap but I don't think you'll be able to find this stuff discounted anywhere.
Damn. Well how about I change the question a bit - Are there any companies that offer good rates that only insure riders who are 25 or over? I know Riders Plus wouldn't even quote me a few years back so I'll try em again. Anyone other than State Farm offer good discounts if I switch my car over...
So I turn 25 this weekend, my insurance renewal is up in June. Are there any companies that will give a good insurance rate drop at the 25 year old bracket? My current company gave me a quote that was only about $400 less. Is there somewhere I can I finally catch a break or am I asking for too...
Damn good ride! We went through the states and there are some roads I highly recommend on the way.. Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine are amazing. My buddy and I did it in 8 days and felt a bit rushed.
I'm 24 on a Bonneville (4th bike) and I've been enjoying it. With the stock setup it's a pretty tame ride but tons of fun and so easy to ride. I put on the Arrow 2-1 pipe with baffles out and the thing can move when you want it to.
Just scratched my ****ing truck with my brake lever - Not too deep but enough that it really bothers me. Any suggestions on products or a shop that can fix it without costing tons?
I highly recommend Rok Straps. I ordered mine on ebay, shipping was dirt cheap:

I'm heading up to a cottage for the weekend but am thinking of making a decent day ride out of it.. Any suggestions for a route or good roads to hit on the way out there?
I've got an 09 Bonneville with a Thruxton seat.. Not sure that would help though, the Thruxton bars are a LOT different, and mine are aftermarket. The pegs are also placed a little farther back as far as I know.
