It's a naked bike. By definition you should not expect a lot of wind protection. I own a black Tuono V4 and I had Z1000 (but 03 model) in the past. V4 engine is way superior to I4. Totally different beast and I like it a lot! But I do agree that Japanese bikes are more reliable than Italian...
Thanks! Let me know, please. Also, don't forget to mention to your agent that it's 89 cc bike. I just found out today that Intact does not insure any bikes less than 100 cc :(.

Sorry if I it was not clear enough. I'm not a new rider. I have M full and 20+ year experience. The bike is for my 8 years old son. It's a small, not road legal bike. I just want to get it plated so he can ride it on other than private properties. Apparently, MTO requires an insurance to do...
Anybody knows who insures small off road bikes for a reasonable price? I need to get green plates for Yamaha TTR90 and Duffy quoted me over $400 per year, which is totally insane! And that's considering that I have condo, car and 2 motorcycles polices with them! Thanks!
Whatever. I've been buying all kind of gear from Germany for many years. Schuberth, Rukka, Daytona, Stadler, you name it. Never ever I've been charge a penny in duties! Just tax's and ~$8 Canada Post brokerage fee. My last Schubert C3 Pro they even did not charge tax's! But that's just luck :).
AFAIK motorcycle safety gears are duty free. At least, I've never got charged any duties for motorcycle jackets/pants/boots/helmets I ordered from Europe. Make sure, the seller clearly states that it's a motorcycle suit in customs declaration form.
Please, don't argue with bitzz. It's not worth your time arguing with a rude and maybe mentally sick person, who has no clue what he's talking about. Just do what I did - put him straight in ignore list :).
That's right. I have no reason to suspect any scam, because the guy seems to be very honest and he sent me a bunch of pictures of the damage. It's pretty clear that some sharp and heavy object punched a hole in a thick carton box, went all the way through bubble wrap and scratched the tank...
Thanks for the stories, Ken. I'm sorry for your bad experiences :(. Now I see why more and more sellers refuse to accept PayPal as a method of payment for any valuable items...
So, you're saying that I'm responsible that the post ruined the tank? Nice try! I have tons of pictures to prove that the tank was properly packaged. As I see it, my responsibility is to assist the buyer with getting postage and insurance money back, and not to pay for someone's mistake.
How technically does it work? The tank is in California right now. Do they pick up the tank and give money at the spot, or how? I won't give them the tank until I have money in hands.
