    10kish or less bike

In town I rarely get more than 200 km out of the tank, but I could make it straight to Ellicottville, NY once on one tank! It's 260 km.

    10kish or less bike

I have Tuono 2017 that I'm thinking of selling. It has 11,000 km on it. Tones of upgrades (all the highest quality, nothing like cheap Chinese knockoffs). For $14K I'll include Race ECU and Aplrilia's Akrapovic slip-on (over $2.5K in value!) + some other small items, like LED bulbs, larger...

Who’s Still a Reasonable Option for SS

Interesting... When I had Aprilia Tuono V4 1000 Wawanesa insured the bike. Then I upgraded to Tuono 1100 they refused to insure it. Also, they did not want to insure Multistrada 1200 which is clearly a sport touring bike. I never had claims (at fault, not at fault, NON!), never had tickets, and...

Who’s Still a Reasonable Option for SS

Last time I checked, Wawanesa didn't insure any sport bike (not only SS, naked, sport touring, etc. as well!) over 1000 cc. Does not matter how old are you, how many years you're licensed, etc. 1000+ cc = NO INSURANCE. Has something changed in there?

Where to mount a Action cam?

Maybe everyone should carry turban with them to avoid this? [emoji16] Crazy law... You are allowed to ride without helmet, but you can't attach a tiny BT to it [emoji849]

Where to mount a Action cam?

Well said. Completely agree with both of you. Just wonder, whether these tickets treated the same as speeding, etc. by insurance company?

Where to mount a Action cam?

Could you share some pics of your installation? I have C4 and C3 Pro. The neck collar sits in a groove of a helmet shell. How are you going to insert the clamp between the collar and a helmet shell (without damaging the collar) is beyond me...

Where to mount a Action cam?

    (c) have a hard, smooth outer shell lined with protective padding material or fitted with other energy absorbing material and shall be strongly attached to a strap designed to be fastened under the chin of the wearer; Sorry, there does it say that clamp attachments are allowed and adhesive are...

Where to mount a Action cam?

Could you share the official source (HTA?) of this information? Specifically, I'd like to see there it states that adhesive attachments to a helmet are illegal, but other types of attachments (clamps, etc.) are not.

Where to mount a Action cam?

I suppose, you're talking about a mount, not a device itself, because both cameras and BT's clamp to mounts. All BT's come with 2 mounts: clamp type and adhesive type. According to your logic - clamp type mount is legal and adhesive is not? I'd call it BS! BTW, I wear Schuberth helmets and there...

Where to mount a Action cam?

What's the difference between chin mounted camera and side mounted Sena then? Are you saying BT on a helmet is illegal? I don't see any note on Sena, Cardo etc. that they are "for off-road use only"...

LF: Tips on using Garmin Base camp

New Garmin GPS's (Zumo 595, for instance) have 2 different types of points: waypoint and shape point. They are handled completely differently by GPS. Even though it might look confusing to some people, this feature is very useful. And It's extremely important to select the type of points...
