    ESR (Eat Sleep Ride)

Resurrecting an old thread since the app is still going strong. Curious how many here, use it now. I have used it for 4 years now. Got in when crashlite was first introduced and you could buy a lifetime subscription. That part of the app works well now. They dropped the "challenges" last year...

    Convicted of no insurance

Original Poster Joined Jan 7, 2018 Last seen Mar 22, 2019 Unfortunate as looks like they really were serious about getting a bike, but not logged in since starting this thread, so thread seems dead.

Mesh Jacket too cold for most nights?

If you have a two piece bike rainsuit, just the rain jacket over a mesh or perforated leather jacket gets me by a 1º morning. Rainsuits also pack very small, just another option. Actually just got home half hour ago on bike and it is 1º now. If it were not for leather chaps I would have been...

    Helmet Wiper Blade

Attaches to helmet with little suction cups. Likely get outlawed after a few go through car windshields I would imagine.

So Finally I bought my First bike in Canada. Before hitting the roads....

A heads up on #4 in case you are not aware. The OPP have at least one plane that cruises over the 400 series highways and more. If you get clocked at 150kph+ on highway, they follow you till you are off the highway and direct a cruiser to intercept you then. Cannot run from a plane.... well...

    Akoury dealer

Wow, I am too lazy to get on motorcycle to ride that short a distance, I would walk the 800m. It did remind me of some interesting statistics though. We always feel safer if we are close to home. My only bike against car accident was 34 years ago and was two blocks from the house I lived in...

    Insurance kms driven per year

Reply with quote not working, so at Roadrash, does quote get more expensive the more miles per year or less miles? Curious as I never asked my insurer, only have given reasonable estimation of true mileage. I am guessing they say more money for more mileage as your accident exposure is greater...

    Motorcycle through front door?

I third the pictures request, and will share a couple of my own. These pics are all older than two years as after I got married and sold my man cave and shared new house with new wife, one of the new rules was no motorcycles in the house. A couple things to keep in mind. Best done with one or...

    Trailer talk with GVH

I have one and it has its' place. In my mind mostly for vehicles which are not rated to pull a trailer. I got it when I owned a manual transmission PT Cruiser. When your towing capacity is only about 1000lb, after the bike a Stinger is about the only option weight wise. PT is gone but I still...

    H-D Livewire pricing...

The Livewire also does something the other electric motorcycle manufacturers can't. The ability to ride it across country. The dealer network is huge and most are at the side of major highways. The dealers apparently will be hosting level 3 chargers so you can hop dealer to dealer charge in...

    Waiting for spring...

Been licensed for 34 years now. Rode most of the Honda Nighthawk lineup during that time. In 2013 I came across an ad for a 3 year old Harley XR1200 for sale with no mileage and fell in love with it. In the shed at the time, had an all original 84 750 Nighthawk S and an 82 CB900F I had restored...
