backpacks hurt my left shoulder when i used to ride with it. at first i thought, it was just something i needed to get used to becasue i was fairly new at the time. but later bought a magnetic tank bag. so much better.

very informative. thanks for sharing! one question: normally i do try to do all my braking before the turn, but like it says in the OP, there are instances where you dont have a choice and will have to brake in the middle of the turn. Which brake to use at that time the most? front? rear? both...
