    #1 get loose!! every single thing from long distance touring to twisties on the bike seems to be much better and more controlled if i can remember and in some cases, just trust myself to STAY loose. #2 couter steering. works wonders!

    thats bad advise IMO. when i did the course at Sheridan, never had driven manual car. still dont. never riden a moped, scooter or anything with two wheels with an engine. they teach you from start. from walking your bike to being pushed while you are on the bike to doing the basic emergency...

    IMHO, dont park like this in a big parking lot people! cars cannot see the bike until its too late. i always try to park diagonally and right at the begining of the parking spot to make sure that the rear end/rear tire is visible if someone is driving in the parking lot looking for a spot.

    suggestion: take lakeshore towards Missassauga. Right on Mississauga Road. ride straight for a bit and then turn left when u start to see the fields or keep going straight to forks.. :)

    dont do that. thats what drained your battery. what i would do now... charge the battery fully. ride the bike. preferebally, over 5krpm like Brian said for a longish ride. if the battery drains again, your battery is shot. get a new battery.
