thats what im leaning towards too. but when a reputable name and a racer suggests something different, i thought i would research on my own as well. but so far, its been only the guys that want a fatter tire on the back are happy with 170. i dont care about the look. function before looks.

drove it from Hamilton to Brampton all on back roads. stalled a couple of times. gave too much gas from stop signs while turning couple of times. my advice, stick to low traffic roads.

2004 Sv650 decided on the next tires Dunlop Sportmax Q2 decided on the front size. 120/70-17 not sure about the rear size. some recomend 170/60-17. a lot recomend 160/60-17(stock size). anyone with more tire knowledge want to chime in? stock size wheel.
