I work for an Acura dealer, and yes, there is a pretty extensive checklist. We pretty much have to check everything and make sure it is not damaged and is in proper working condition.

I'm planning to go this year. I'm leaning toward just going and doing the test.

I use Puma testastretta's for regular street riding, but I just picked up Alpinestars smx plus, for when I start tracking.

I got it for under $700, I bought matching boots and the total was just over $1000.

Alpinestars Carver 1 piece, got matching boots as well. I ordered it at the bike show in January, from GP Bikes.

Thanks for the heads up! I was hoping to go to a Grand Bend course, as it's closer, but that is a crazy good deal. I'll have to check those dates on my schedule. :thumbup:

I apologize if it has already been said elsewhere in this thread, but when/how is the HID group buy going down? I want to get some for my 06 R6 but I don't even know what kit I need yet lol :S

I had a good time at the show. I went on Saturday morning and bought myself some Alpinestars 1-piece leather with matching boots. Now I just have to book my racer5 intro course.

It makes me sad knowing the season is pretty much over and I didn't get to come out and ride with you guys once. My schedule sucks. I'm definitely going to have to work something out for next season, or if I'm lucky squeeze one in this season.
