    We had the talk.......

Yup, my wife has asked me to do the same. Increase my life insurance. Other then that she has expressed her concerns. She did the same when I stated mountain biking. I've been on some descents that I probably shouldn't have. But so far so go. It's made me a better rider and decision maker.

His texts don't really seem like he needs it gone. Very slow if any response. Now he could be busy working. But first text is from the 22nd.

I don't think I have that amount as of yet. Probably a couple hundred in change around the house. Could have paid for 55% the bike in question

    Should I avoid?

I have to admit, I barely have cash on me. I generally have a twenty just in case purposes but always use the card. When the twenty breaks, the change ends up in my change draw and the bills if any left back in my wallet.

    Should I avoid?

Last week Jan 16th I saw this V-Star on Kijiji. Listed at $2,400. It stated it was certified. Jan 22nd he dropped it to $2,000. I reached out via text and asked him if he has a UVI package, Where was the bike certified, and if there is any work which needs to be done to it, body or mechanical...

New rider looking for a bike

I think I may just go this way. Get my license and then work on the bike. This will actually allow me to test the bike before committing. Thanks

New rider looking for a bike

I appreciate your 2 cents. I have started to look at the Shadow, it is only the 2010 and newer which seem to be FI. Seems like the Vulcan 650 (2015 and newer) are also FI. I don't think I have an interest for Sports bikes. So I have concentrated on the cruisers and possible a standard.

New rider looking for a bike

So I have been convinced to finda bike with fuel injection. The 650 doesn't have FI. However the 950 does. Would a beginner be ok with a 950? Is that too much? If so I think I'll have to look at other bikes, the Vulcan and the Boulevard M50 are on my list

New rider looking for a bike

Thanks Mike for the reply. I would prefer the 650 rather then the 250.My broker had assumed that the insurance for the 650 would be a lot more. However from Riders Plus the insurance seems to be a lot more acceptable. As for beginner bike, I agree. However my plan was just to get a...
