I'm also looking to go (first time) any helpful hints from others that have been before? Camping at the track, camping outside the track, hotel, motel, best seats/section etc.... I will most likely be taking the cage as i've heard the ride does suck and 8hrs will be long for a sport bike.

Just purchased 2nd ram mount for my new bike. had the first kit on my previous bike using the iphone 4s mount, phone and mount survived being hit by an f150 without a scratch...bike was a write-off. iphone mount and go-pro mount..both work great.

agree with others on here to go sit on each bike, see if they are at all comfortable. you might eliminate a bike right off the bat by that alone. nothing wrong with starting on a 600ss + so long as your not an idiot and take it easy and most importantly respect the machine and never forget your...

check out Ram mounts, should be easy to find them...search google. buddy and myself just bought a few mounts through them....gps garmin mount, iphone mount, go-pro mount...several other options to choice aswell. pricing is very reasonable.

another thing to check is your owners manual, my bike (03 cbr600rr) will get to the last fuel bar, then after a bit more riding starts to blink...then after a little more riding stay solid again. no i haven't run out of fuel, and this has only happend once.
