Get online and find a tutorial. Not only will you save money, but you'll get more hands on with your bike. The more you know and can do yourself the better off you are.

Almost every sport bike cooks your legs. Mainly cause you are sitting just above a high output engine that runs hot. The venting usually leads to your legs. It's a part of the SS bike that you need to deal with. Or get something else.

I have found insurance to cover yourself for health, your equipment for storage and in tranist along with theft of tools etc. I would highly doubt there is anyone that would cover a crash on track.
