    Eating out

This is a very high end Italian restaurant where you need to have a reservation or chances are you're not getting in. The menu changes throughout the year on whats in season and whats fresh. The cocktails are also amazing. Our waiter was fantastic - older gentlemen that lived in Italy most of...

    Eating out

Prices really are insane now to go to a Restaurant. When me and the wife go out (we are both foodies, especially her as a chef) we get 2 drinks each (sometimes more), appetizer and a main. We just had our anniversary at a fairly nice Italian restaurant. She wasn't feeling the best so only had 1...

    Well, that didn't take long!

Peterborough is my hometown, and I remember about 15 years ago we had an un-usually warm March, the temperature was actually 28 - 34 for an entire week and I had the bike out.

    Well, that didn't take long!

Even up north here in certain Facebook groups riders are just "itching" to get their bikes out - mostly younger riders mind you. Still, I imagine they are doing all of the above. Personally, **** that....wait for a big rainstorm to get all the salt / dirt and garbage off the road before I get...

    Long lived high mileage rides

My old man and his best friend bought identical 1987 1100 Suzukis when they were released. He ended up selling it in 2000 for a Hayabusa, but had 195,000 kms on the 1100 with absolutely no issues - just regular maintenance. His friend sold his 1100 with 175,000kms on it and got a ZX12. There's...

    Dunlop Sportmax Q5S

Anyone have much experience with the new Q5S series from Dunlop? I've run the Sportmax Q3+ for the past few years and fell in love with them after I dialed in the right psi. The reviews I have heard from the Q5S have all been pretty negative in regards to how fast the tire gets chewed up / wear...

This season has been terrible for motorcyclists

Having moved to Northern Ontario (Actually Northern Ontario....not Barrie) I can't fathom riding on the 401. Even when I come to visit and have to drive on the 401 from the airport, it's just such a **** hole. Drivers are cut throat, and unless you're constantly trying to overtake the guy in...

    Wrecked hard on Tuesday

It all adds up. In my accident I tore my labrum in my leg, which ended up slightly affecting the way I walked as my body compensated to help take some weight off. Fast forward a few years and it completely affected my walking / running gait. Now I run almost side to side / bow legged instead of...

    Wrecked hard on Tuesday

Sorry to hear. Similar thing happened to me, broken clavicle, broke both wrists and cracked my forearm. That really freaked me out because I realized I can do everything by the book, ride smart, be aware, follow the rules and STILL get hit by some random person. If you or I were in a vehicle it...

    What the heck….mental hesitation…

Ironically I'm way up north (no.....not Sudbury, Red Lake area). In the summer the traffic can get a little dumb due to the travelling season, but aside from that it's pretty tame. More so it's the wildlife, and transport trucks that you need to watch out for.....and the OPP who are cowboys up...

    What the heck….mental hesitation…

Reviving an older thread here. How's everyone's mental game going into another riding year? A lot of terrible drivers out on the roads browsing social media, insurance at record highs and all around inflation killing the budget for a lot of riders. Much like last year I can't wait for warmer...

    Official Tire Storage Guidance

Same. Hell my neighbor throws a tarp over his bike and lets it sit outside all winter. I at least have mine in a garage, but never heated and haven't had an issue with the tires yet.
