I learned how to ride a motorcycle in mexico. It was my dad's klr.
He moved down there for business and retirement. This was taken in 2011? In 2018 he passed away and I inherited his 2016 Vstrom. 100k km, 7 years later, still riding his Suzuki 👍
Yeah, all that is gonna run you $500-$700 plus $300 parts? What is your milagae? I would pass on the valve check, that takes forever and is the most expensive job imo. I did mine at 80k and the exhaust valves were slightly tight. The rest should take a few hours of labor.
Quickly changed my brake fluid. Bled the system, got brake fluid everywhere because I'm lazy to keep it clean. Gross job, at least I won't have to do it for 2-3 years
This year I have switched to an Android Auto/Carplay screen purchased off Aliexpress. My favorite gadget purchase to date. Turn on bike, automatically connects to my Samsung and Google maps pops up. Live traffic and radio starts playing through my headset. Only $150.
I've been through all the gimmick earplugs made out of strange materials on amazon. Spent over $60 on experimenting and always come back to foam plugs. Just bought a 50 pair from dewalt on amazon. They work and reusable until all your earwax make them look gross lol
Road rash at any speed is absolutely awful. Imagine tripping running in shorts on the sidewalk, hurts like hell and you'll scab and heal for a week or two. Imagine going any speed faster than that and sliding? That might be the worst pain imaginable.
