I don't think that is possible. How does one get a trip permit? What documentation do you have to show the MTO? I don't believe they would issue a trip permit for a bike that hasn't been legally allowed to enter the country yet... see what I mean?
If anything you could drive to seattle...
Why don't you call the numbers listed and talk to US Customs and CBSA. I'd take their word over anyone elses on here, as they are the ones you'll be dealing with.
Yes it's safe. We took 3 bikes in a U-haul trailer to Daytona a few years back. Just make sure you secure it tight cuz if she shifts or moves you won't know it until it's too late.:)

Hey Nick, (nice name!)
Your best bet is to give customs a call. I know nothing about custom cycles and what grey area they fall under. Check the numbers on the first page and if you don't have any luck drop me a pm and I'll do some research for you.

I wouldn't recommend ridng a bike back. First of all you will need insurance and plates from whatever state you purchase it. Then you'll need to get plates again here. Seems like a lot of wasted money besides I"m not sure how the whole plate system works in the US (ie if you as a...
