I am a believer that more is better. Kinda like body protection or redundant parts on an airplane. Little extra weight and "cant hurt' to have both. Go down hard enough and nothing will matter. I have broken sliders off (always use cut in ones, avoid the no cut sliders) and also burnt and broke...
Clarington Cycle is a solid local shop. Mike is a good honest knowledgeable guy and Andrew is a skilled wrench. Not sure about them not being busy I was there yesterday and service bays were full. Not sure what the issue was with the triumph but must be more to this story.
I charge $60 for chain and sprocket install and like the others said get a rear sprocket as well. Have to ask though are you sure you even need it on a low horsepower relatively new bike?
I own both a Champion and Honda both 2000W . Have many hours on both of them sometimes at the same time. They both start one or two pulls. Both power about the same before tripping. Champion slightly louder (very slight). Honda is a little harder on fuel under load. What everyone said regarding...
Re: SOAR Banquet upcoming this weekend
To everyone coming to the banquet tomorrow evening. I have hired a shuttle driver for the evening I believe they can move 6-8 people at a time and I suggest you give him notice when you would like to be picked up. He will be on call all evening so you can...

Own one of the most desirable old school superbikes. A 1990 Kawasaki ZX7. This is a buy one get one free deal. I have owned it for three years and my intention was to build a firebreather. However I wont be racing for a while due to medical reasons. Its a shame to see her sitting. The bike has a...
Heard a rumour about this a month or so ago. I felt it was pretty late to swing this for 2015. Apparently thats what they think as well by doing the into a Mosport it gives time to prep a bunch of bikes then give it to the media monkeys to ride and write about. If they have 20-25 already built...
I can only comment on us. SOAR does not control nor receive the gate therefore I am not in any position to offer any passes. CSBK does not pay for track rentals, purse ,ambulances, marshals, staff rooms and food, even camera scaffolding etc. The money that they charge you as racers goes to CSBK...
Thats EXACTLY the plan and you are 100% proof that we are on the right track just by your comments. As for the fast guys dealing with it, nobody has a gun to the head. If they want to fight for the championship and in turn purse they can. If they would rather not then thats fine as well.
Well the way I see it is the whole sport needs a jump start. We have regionals that for the most part are self supporting but there is no "next" step. The nationals used to be that step however in my mind they are on life support. Its a business model that doesnt work it did but doesnt anymore...
Ok let me clarify just a little. First off this is not the structure used by either series last year. The parameters were that it needed to pay much deeper in the field. This is done with the runoffs in mind. We wanted to pay in many different ways in order for people to be able to obtain the...
