I'd love to get a super tiny one for the Super Cub, since it only needs it to run the lights. But finding one small enough to fit that doesn't cost as much as the bike itself is difficult.
On the Super Cub I get the occasional wave back. Seems like no one has a clue what it is and 9/10 riders refuse to wave.
Past weekend I was out on the VFR and I noticed maybe 3/4 waved back. Sometimes people don't see or are too busy clutching the bars to lift even a finger. It doesn't offend me.
There's a lot we don't know for sure. The chances the motorcyclist was riding dirty are pretty good so I have no comment without knowing more. I can't see plates or a helmet anywhere either.
There are already reports this has gone to SIU

Police put a motorcyclist in hospital. There were reports he was "riding recklessly" and officers threw their bicycles infront of the bike and brought him down.
Then one officer proceeds to wail on a separate bystander.
Something like that would be incredibly helpful!
Would a sniffer up the muffler be accurate? I always thought a bung had to be welded in closer to the engine to get an accurate read
We last left off with the bike running. I had topped off the tank with a Jerrycan to keep the fleshly cleaned tank brimmed with fuel to prevent any rusting and the bike sat for about a week in the garage.
When I came back to work on the bike I couldn't get it to run. It would start a little but...
My pleasure. Thanks for the reply.
That rust wash stuff would be great to soak tools in. I've been dropping random rusty nuts and bolts into the bottle and fishing them out the next day. Good results.
So Bike is back together. Full of Fuel. Ready to go.
Key on.
Petcock to on.
Unfold the kickstarter and start kicking.
kick.
kick.
kick.
kick. kick. kick. kick. kick. kick...
When I first got my Volt back in '16 I tried plugging in at work. I work in a Region of Peel/Peel Police building and there were always empty 12/120 outlets no one ever used. I started plugging in when I was on nightshift and one of the Cops ran my license plate and ratted me out to my Chief. I...
I actually hadn't heard of UJM before. Now I do. Much obliged.
Yeah I never thought about that. You don't see the term JDM used for bikes often, do you.
